I Smell Winter

I Smell Winter by The Housemartins

Recently, I listened to the "Now That's What I Call Quite Good" CD, where "I Smell Winter" is the opening track.
Wanting to play it on my acoustic, I realized there were no tabs or chords to be found, which is a shame,
as this is a great (albeit lesser known) tune. Playing around a little bit, I came up with the chords below.
There is just a crappy video of the song played live on YT, so it's hard to verify that's the way
Stan Cullimore plays it. But anyway, it sounds OK playing along with the CD, so the chords and the
tuning seem right.
Suggestions are alway welcome. Enjoy!

Standard tuning, no capo.

INTRO:

A E D (2x)

VERSE #1:

A E
Now the sun was in my eyes
   D
So forgive me if I was blind
          A E
But I can suddenly see the light
                   D
Now the blinds are raised

A E
Now she's finally spoken
D
Winter's finally broken
A E
Realize I'm heading
           D
For colder days

BRIDGE #1:

       Bm E
He can feel it just around the corner
       Bm E
He can feel it on every breath
              Bm E
And something tells him it's good goodbye summer
              Bm E
And something tells him it's the kiss of death

CHORUS:

A
Losing at the tracks
  (I smell)
E
Loosens all his taps
  (Winter)
D
I smell winter on his breath
A
There's a chill down my spine
  (I smell)
E
But the weather's fine
  (Winter)
D
I smell winter on his breath

A E D (1x)

VERSE #2:

           A E
You better button up your coat
           D
Or it will catch you in the pit of the throat
        A E
You can certainly feel the wind blow
               D
When you're by yourself
             A E
And when the snow has finally melted
           D
You better think about who you shelter
     A
'Cos one of these days
   E D
It might just be someone else

BRIDGE #2:

                  Bm E
And he's searched underground and overground for a partner
           Bm E
Played his harmonica 'til his lips were raw
                    Bm E
He's looked through tins and rubbish bins just for an answer
            Bm E
So far each year he's drawn the shortest straw

CHORUS:

A
Losing at the tracks
  (I smell)
E
Loosens all his taps
  (Winter)
D
I smell winter on his breath
A
There's a chill down my spine
  (I smell)
E
But the weather's fine
  (Winter)
D
I smell winter on his breath

A E D
I smell winter
A E D
I smell winter
A E D
I smell winter
A E D
I smell winter

BRIDGE #3: (Same as #2, but played with muted strings)

                  Bm E
And he's searched underground and overground for a partner
           Bm E
Played his harmonica 'til his lips were raw
                    Bm E
He's looked through tins and rubbish bins just for an answer
            Bm E
So far each year he's drawn the shortest straw

CHORUS:

A
Losing at the tracks
  (I smell)
E
Loosens all his taps
  (Winter)
D
I smell winter on his breath
A
There's a chill down my spine
  (I smell)
E
But the weather's fine
  (Winter)
D
I smell winter on his breath

A E D
I smell winter
A E D
I smell winter
A E D
I smell winter
