Alphabet Wasted Summer

Not perfect by any means but this is how I've been playing it

*Also I'm not sure if its correct but I've been adding a C# chord to the progression after the C#m.
It sounds cool, don't know if its very accurate but you can try it*

Intro

A F#m C#m

Verse 1

A F#m
I thank the Lord
                   C#m
I find my peace in sucking exult
A F#m
Forget the Gods, I am praying to her
        C#m
Yes, if she's the one to take me
                        A F#m
I won't be opposed, but I thought for sure
     C#m
That I could endure
A F#m
But then I woke up, so I exchanged the locks
          C#m
Tried to lose you in limbo, but here you are

Wanna be my soulmate?

Verse 2

A F#m
Wasting away
                   C#m
Your outlook's an excuse to decay
     A F#m
It's wrong if I stay, even worse if I go
        C#m
I got tendons made of paper, the wording is confusing
    A F#m C#m
But I could be wrong, you're already gone
A F#m
Finding you drunk, nasal deep in the bathtub
     C#m
You slip into a coma, drip down the foundations

Chorus

A
You're only what your money pays for
G# B
I'll be whatever keeps me sane, oh
C#m
Just another flame to smother
C E
Just another wasted summer
A
You're only what your money pays for
G# B
I'll be whatever keeps me sane, oh
C#
Just another flame to smother
C E
Just another wasted summer

A F#m C#m

Verse 3

A F#m C#m
         Engaging your interests
A F#m C#m
         And I'll smile politely
A F#m
Did I fuck up? Think I fucked with your head?
        C#m
Or else did you get caught on what someone else said?
A F#m
Did I fallow the fields that I should've left dead?
         C#m
Always dressing my wounds right before watershed
A F#m
Now we're wasting away
                C#m
I'm permanently wasted away
A F#m
My ash back is steeple, my blood is purée
       C#m
I'm a stain on my gene pool, I like it that way

Pre-Chorus

Wanna be my soulmate?

I promise I can wittle soap

I'll make us matching bracelets

Right before I'll make the key mold

Chorus

A
You're only what your money pays for
G# B
I'll be whatever keeps me sane, oh
C#m
Just another flame to smother
C E
Just another wasted summer
A
You're only what your money pays for
G# B
I'll be whatever keeps me sane, oh

Just another wasted summer
