Green Day - Private Ale
Submitted By: Chris
EMail: [email protected]
Album:Kerplunk (1992 Look Out! Records)
Track:5
Guitar:Billie Joe Armstrong

Guitar I (lead)-Clean Electric
Guitar II (rhythm)-Medium Distortion Electric

Key:
\-slide up
/-slide down
Pm-palm mute
()-ghost note
~-let ring

Note:This is a little confusing. The lead Guitar plays
the same thing as the rhythm guitar for the first part
of the verse but after the "just don't know/seem to care"
part, the lead guitar does it's own thing for the verses
which I have included. Just so you're not too messed up...

That's it! Pretty simple. Remember that you need two
guitarists for this song.
===========Private Ale - GREEN DAY

INTRO: (8'th notes, muted)
G#-------------------------------------------

VERSE:

G#----------------(muted)--------------------------
I wonder down these streets all by myself
G#----------------(muted)---------------- C#
Think of my future now I just don't know
C# G#
I don't seem to care

G#----------------(muted)----------------------
I stop to notice that I'm by your home
G#----------------(muted)------- C#
I wonder if you're sitting all alone
C# G#
Or is your boyfriend there?

CHORUS:
                C# G# Eb
Because I feel so right

Until you're in my sight

And through my veins temptation flows
