Breath On These Dry Bones

Mountaintop

Breathe on these Dry Bones

E B
Breathe on these dry bones Lord,
A E
Breathe on these dry bones,
E B
Breathe on these dry bones Lord,
A C#m F#/A#
Breathe on these dry bones;

        A
We will walk in the valley of the shadow of
E/G#
death, Knowing you’ll give us every
F#m7
breath, Knowing you’ll call us into
E/G# A
Life, Calling dry bones to come to life
                     E/G#
Hear the word of the Lord
                     F#m
Hear the word of the Lord
    E/G# A B
Dry bones, dry bones, hear the word of the Lord

Breathe on these dry bones Lord…..

We will walk with the fire in us
We will Walk knowing you’ll walk beside us
Walk, put your Spirit inside us
Walk, raise us out of the darkness

Hear the word of the Lord
Hear the word of the Lord
Dry bones, dry bones, hear the word of the Lord

Breathe on these dry bones Lord…..

      A F#
And I don’t know
          A F#
As I walk down this valley Lord
               A F#
Which way your wind might blow, Lord,
                    A F#
Which way you might go, Lord?

Hear the word of the Lord...

Check it out: Ezekiel 37:1-14
We live in difficult times. And God’s words to the prophet Ezekiel seem very
appropriate to today.
All around us death… dying institutions, dying hope, dying vision for the future,
people living such stressful
lives they live a kind of half-life, never really getting to live life in abundance. We
live at such a pace,
at such a rush. But God tells us to order life into dry bones. He tells us to speak, and say
“hear the word of the Lord”. Breathe, live, rise up and form a mighty army from
those who were slain.
Many believers today feel like they’re part of a slain army, and as they lie
surrounded by death and dying,
they really need to hear this word of encouragement!
