Fractured Love

                            Def leppard-Fractured love

Now this is one real cool song of def leppard.Though easy, it’s sort of surprising
no one has tried to tab it before. Anyway, we have managed to tab the entire song. it needs
at least 2 guitars, one playing all the rhythm parts and one playing all the leads (like in
all def leppard songs).please do listen to the song and try to play it because otherwise you
may not figure out where some of the parts of this tab fit in and the timing.

There are effects in the distortion used, which we don’t have, but even otherwise it
pretty good

The song structure and lyrics are as follows:

These first few verses are soft, with only the intro and riffs A and B

Play the intro riff, then
I’m caught in a dream, sometimes it ain’t what it seems.
I’m all in a daze, cant fight my way out of this maze.

Riff A
I’m looking for clues, and wanting a change in the rules.
I’m locked in a cage, acting out on the wrong stage.

Riff B

Don’t want your sympathy
No,no, no.
(Don’t need the third degree,)
No, no, no.
(I’ve just gotta break away and scream.)
I’m caught in a dream.

Guitar 2 continues to play riff A and guitar 1 plays
second part of the intro riff once

I’m still at the edge and I’m lookin down
Caught in the danger zone
Feels like a king who has lost his crown
And now I stand here alone

Riff B
(Don’t want your sympathy,)
No…no..no
Don’t need the third degree,)
No..o……o
(I’ve just gotta break away and scream.)

I’M CAUGHT IN A DREAM!
With this it turns rocking!!!

Riff C
Fractured love, fractured love,
Iron fist in a velvet glove.
Fractured love, fractured love,
Cracks in the mirror of this fracture love.

I don’t care if you pull down the sky,
Angry passion is a friend of mine.
Reach out for the sky above,
It’s just a fractured love.

Fractured love, fractured love,
Iron fist in a velvet glove.
Fractured love, fractured love,
Cracks in the mirror of your fractured love.

Then the bridge

Riff D (play the corresponding guitar also)
I’m caught in a dream.

Riff E (play corresponding guitar also)
Why don’t you set me free?

Then there’s that superb guitar solo, with riffs C played in between twice, followed by
power C and power A chord, and then riff D once.
We are still working on it and shall put it up later.

Don’t want your sympathy…………….play A5

Don’t need your third degree…………..play C5

just gotta break,
Break away and scream!!!

Riff F
I’m caught in a dream.

Riff G
Why don’t you set me free?

Riff C
Fractured love
(fractured love,)
Fractured love,
(fractured love,)
Iron fist in a velvet glove.
Fractured love,
(fractured love,)
Fractured love,
(fractured love,)

Riff H
Don’t give me your fractured love…….oh…o…….oh……o

Finally the outro solo for which guitar 2 plays riff I

And then ends with riff H and
