C----------0----------------|
F----7-----------7-----7----|
C--5-----------0------------|

The interlude on the studio version was hard to pick up, so I went with what Rich plays
live shows. Same basic idea, just different picking patterns.

During many of the post-hiatus live versions, this song featured a long spacey jam after
interlude in the key of C. The jam was usually split into two parts, and was bridged
by a distinct riff (Jam Riff 1):

Jam Riff 1:
C--------------------------------------------|
A--------------------------------------------|
F------------7-7-----------------7-9b11-7----|
C--7-7-7-7-9-----9--0--7-7-7-7-9----------0--|
F--------------------------------------------|
C--------------------------------------------|

After this, the improvisation continued and each band member went in their own direction
it was time to bring the song back together for a final chorus. This was done using
Riff 2:

Jam Riff 2:
C-----------------------|
A--5--3--1--0--1--3--7--|
F--0--0--0--0--0--0--7--| x3
C--0--0--0--0--0--0--x--|
F--5--4--2--0--2--4--7--|
C--------------------0--|

Hold/strum the C chord for a few measures each time the first part to this riff is played.

C--------------------|
A--5--3--1--0--1--3--|
F--0--0--0--0--0--0--| x3
C--0--0--0--0--0--0--|
F--5--4--2--0--2--4--|
C--------------------|

C-----------------|
A--5--3--1--0--0--|
F--0--0--0--0--0--|
C--0--0--0--0--0--|
F--5--4--2--0--0--|
C-----------------|
