THE KILLER IS ME
ALICE IN CHAINS
Alright. I really like the weird feel to this song. It's kind
of.... you know.... weird.
Anyway, i've spent a pretty long time figuring out the little
details in this song. But still, there some parts i'm not sure
of.
Here's my version.
like for most AIC songs, guitars must be tuned 1/2 step down.
Main Riff.

-- Correction 11/01/2005

Correction (I think !) for J.P.Juneau's version:

His A chord should be:

E:5
B:0
G:6
D:7
A:0
E:

His ???? chord is an F (sus 2?)

E:0
B:6
G:0
D:7
A:8
E:

For the chorus, instead of the E, I would play a G

I don't know if the parts for the other guitars are accurate or not

     A ????
After a couple of times, when the band comes in, the second
guitar plays something like this...
    A
         Or something like this...
    A
I'm not too sure about these parts. I think he improvises most
of the time.
But it's close enough.
Chorus
Guitar 1:
    E F#
   yeah i'll start over
and then...
                Fmaj7
       and get over it....
Guitar 2:
    E F#
   yeah I start over
                            yeah
I start over and get over it...
Verse 2:
Same as the first.
Chorus 2:
Same as the first, except that guitar 2 starts like this:
    E
Then play the main riff a couple of times and that's it !
LYRICS
Don't need a gun, pointed at me
Don't need to run, killer is me
Killer is me
So the sun, shines upon me
Havin fun, killer is me
Insane the mind, in the name of me
Can't find the time, to let things be
Insane the mind, in the name of me
Can't find the time, to let things be
Let things be
Oh yeah, can i start over ?
Oh yeah, can i start over ?
And get over it
So the sun, shines upon me
Having fun, killer is me
killer is me
Killer is me
Oh yeah, can i start over ?
Oh yeah, can i start over ?
And get over it
Let things be
OK, so this is how close i can get to the real thing...
If somebody has a better way of playing it, please post it.
Send me all corrections, i'll be glad to recieve them.
